Is there actually a way to get your credit report without having to give out credit card information and signing up for free trials??

Yes, you are legally entitled to a free credit report from all 3 major credit reporting companies (Experian, Equifax, TransUnion) Here is what I did: Go to www.annualcreditreport.com find your state and then enter your information and you can get the 3 free reports. You can even sign up to have them remind you next year when you are able to view your new annual updated report
You will not need to enter your cc information UNLESS you also want your credit SCORE, but it will give you the REPORT which has all the accounts you have opened and what their status is, whether they are in collections or in good standing and you can see who has all requested your credit info. You will need to answer some questions to verify you are really you, it’s easy and legally you are entitled to it.
